Get thee to a nunnery!

Where did the week go? Alas, my knitting corner is going to be deserted for the next four days while I get up to knitterly shenanigans in a nunnery in York with a couple of dozen of the nation's best knitters, spinners, bakers and all round good time girls.

Hope you are looking forward to your weekend as much as I am.

Enjoy your time away - though it must be difficult to leave such a wonderfully comfortable corner.

Wow, my knitting corner looks just like that except I only have a chair. But the books, the laptop on the small table just the same.

Have a great time in York.

Your knitting corner is lovely! But the nunnery in York sounds fun.

Both the corner & the nunnery sound like knitting heaven to me!

It looks very calm and organised, I love the bookcases.
Just what you need, a little sanctuary from the madness of buses and tubes.

I was in York last weekend too and did lots of knitting in various coffee shops and eateries but I'm sure the nunnery would have been more fun!!
BTW I was knitting Cranford Mitts, they are one of my fav present giving knits and are always received with glee!! I hope one day to do a pair for me!! Thanks for the pattern. x

Hey, I am checking this blog using the phone and this appears to be kind of odd. Thought you'd wish to know. This is a great write-up nevertheless, did not mess that up.
